A scattered-brain mama with a messy house and crazy kids. But there’s always coffee.

I was the girl that assumed having kids would be simple. My kids would eat anything I would give to them, they would sleep all through the night, and they would never act out in public.

And if they wouldn’t eat the food that I gave to them, didn’t sleep through the night, and acted out in public…well, I would have patience, kindness, and understanding.

Now, that I’m a mom to two boys 18 months apart…. well, I would smack old me for thinking that.

I would describe my parenting style as a mix between Roseanne and Kitty from That 70’s Show– a little funny, sweary, and clueless about this whole mother-thing.

I’m a stay-at-home mom and I’m not afraid to admit that my kids watch tv and that they sometimes eat food off the floor. I’ll also admit that parenting tiny humans is the hardest job in the world, and that it’s okay to not totally love every single minute of it.

I’m an advocate for mental health, self-care, and self-love. I want every mama to know her worth and to keep fighting to unleash that girl she used to be.
